China's Grain Imports Grow 67.3% in First Three Quarters

According to customs statistics information network (www.haiguan.info), in September, China's imports of cereals and cereal powder, 1.96 million tons, with year-on-year growth of 39.0%, ring growth of 79.8%. In the first three quarters, the total imports are 14.39 million tons, with year-on-year growth of 67.3%. Cereal price in domestic market is much higher than international market prices, which is the main reason of substantial growth in cereal imports.(www.chinainout.com)
