IMF Data: China to Exceed US and Become World's Largest Economy Entity This Year

IMF announced the latest data, China's total GDP would exceed US’s $17.4 trillion and reach $17.6 trillion, China would become the world's largest economy.

In terms of actual purchasing power, China’s proportion in the global economy has reached 16.5%, while US’s proportion was 16.3%.

Last year, China's global trade surpassed the United States. These data was calculated on basis of the purchasing power parity (PPP). only from the point of view of international exchange rates, the size of the US economy was still nearly 70 percent bigger than China. (www.chinainout.com)
